
Published in the third volume of the opera omnia by Giacomo Gorzanis (Apulia c. 1520–Trieste[?] after 1573) are critical transcriptions of his Second Book of Lute Tablatures dedicated in 1563 by the composer to his patron from Radovljica (now in Slovenia) Moritz von Dietrichstein, a mighty promoter ofhe Slovenian Protestantism. It contains 38 dance compositions in transcription, i.e. interpretation of tablature in modern notation in two systems with an added transcription of the original lute tablature above two two sytems. The author of this edition is lutenist Bor Zuljan.
